Chair, JOSM Expert Peer Review Panel – The Joint Canada-Alberta Implementation Plan for Oil Sands Monitoring (JOSM) called for an external expert peer review to assess the scientific integrity of the monitoring system upon completion of the three-year term of the initial program. To fulfill this commitment, an Expert Peer review Panel consisting of six independent scientific experts, conducted the review between June 2015 to February 2016. The Chair of the Panel, Dr. Phillip Hopke of Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, will present the Panel’s findings and recommendations.
